Bridget Very understandable.
She wasn't picky on music, and she was glad he liked whatever as well. So whatever they listen to would be fine.
Bridget Well I like just about anything. So whatever is fine.

He smiled, wanting to see if she really meant anything. He hit a few buttons on the CD player and Skillet's "Hero" started playing through the pretty impressive sound system in the car itself.
Hope you like this band then, it's one of my favorites.
He started the car and started driving through the parking lot. Wanting to get to know Bridget more, he decided to start asking some questions.
So, you mentioned your family earlier when we were talking about where to go. What are they like?
He figured it was a decent question to start out with, wanting to get to know her better would usually start pretty well with getting to know her family.

When "Hero" by Skillet started playing, she smiles. She knew a few of their songs, and liked them. So she was definitely ok with it.
Bridget Awesome. I do like the band and a few of their songs. Nice choice.
She laughed a little when he asked about her family. She didn't mind, really. Bridget figured it was to get to know her a little more.
Bridget They're really cool. Not strict or anything. My family is very wealthy. But their not snobs, like some are. They're laid back, friendly, and fun to be around. I think you'd like them.

He smiled, liking that she liked Skillet as well. He continued smiling when she talked about her family.
Sounds like I may like them. Just might have to meet them someday...
He purposely left that trailing off, putting the possibility out there since he was starting to feel something with Bridget, something that said that they'd have some sort of a future together, whether it was professional, personal, or whatever.
I'm sure you would have liked my family as well, they were pretty great people. Not really wealthy at all, but we made it work. They were still outgoing people though.

Bridget nodded in agreement.
Bridget Yup, just might..
She continued to keep a smile on her face, really enjoying this. She listen to him speak about his family, wondering on somethings, didn't know if she should bring it up or not.
Bridget Money isn't everything. And I'm just curious..did something happen to them? Just they way you put it, got me curious.

He knew he should have avoided talking about that. He shrugged his shoulders though, figuring it was best to let her know now then later on in case anything did come out of this...
Actually unfortunately my parents were killed by my older brother, who then killed himself. Other then those three, I never really had much of a family to begin with, almost all of them dying before that point in time.
It was a hard thing to talk about for him, yet one that he actually felt somewhat comfortable talking about with her.

Bridget brought her right hand over her mouth, shocked on what he was telling her. She couldn't help but react. She felt so bad for him.
Bridget Oh my God, I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm sorry for asking. I know how hard it must be..I didn't know.
She placed her hand back into her lap, and sighed. It felt nice that he told her what happened though, made her feel like he can be himself or whatever around her.

He forced a smile upon his face so she wouldn't feel so uneasy about asking about them.
No worries, I don't mind talking about it to the right people anyway.
He knew it would help to change the subject.
So do you happen to be a sports fan at all?

Going along with changing the subject, she shrugged some. She never really cared for it.
Bridget Eh, kind of, I guess. I'm not super crazy about it like some people. Most of my friends are big fans of sports and they'll have their parties. That's the only time I really watch it. What about you?
